Building Great Teams - Video

What separates a good team from a great one?

That question framed a recent SSPI-WISE conversation with three accomplished leaders — Nadine Alameh, Ph.D., Mary Frost, and Francesca Andreoli — exploring what it takes to build, lead and sustain high-performing teams. One theme surfaced throughout the discussion: curiosity — the willingness to listen, challenge assumptions and remain open to what we may not yet see.

We explored trust, accountability and clarity, as well as the challenges of leading across different experiences and perspectives. We also discussed how AI is changing the way teams work — and why judgment, adaptability and curiosity may matter even more as a result.

At the heart of that curiosity is a simple question:

“What am I not seeing yet?”

It encourages different viewpoints, better questions and stronger decisions. And as organizations become more complex, that kind of curiosity may be one of the most important leadership habits we can develop.

The conversation offers practical perspectives on what it takes to move teams from good to great.
